DIY

I love to share my ideas with others. These are just a few that was inspired by fellow Pinners on Pinterest. Some of the projects you see are remote-learning related such as my living room, “Back to My Roots.” Many of the materials/supplies/items are from Michael’s, The Dollar Tree, JoAnn Fabrics, Goodwill, and Amazon.

Craft Room
Pretty much everything you see here is what I created including the flowers and painting in the background. I do have unfinished projects that are not shown. As a crafter/teacher, the ideas are endless!

“Back to My Roots”
I revamped my empty plain living room to a theme closely related to my culture. This was one of the areas that I used during remote learning. With two adult children no longer living with us, I have taken advantage of the spaces around my home and turned each one into a specific theme.
Materials: cardstock or posterboard, printout of SLANT, laminator. I couldn’t find a poster that I had in mind, so I made one up for myself — all for free since I already have the materials on hand. The paint splatters were found on PNG Tree for free. The website allows you to download up to three free transparent/PNG background images for one day. Since I have multiple emails, I was able to download up to three for each of my email.
